Dan Pike Stands Up For Our City

~ Mayor Dan Pike listened to hundreds of concerned residents and made the decision to take a stand and oppose the coal port at Cherry Point.

~ Our city’s bond rating was upgraded because of Dan’s strong management. Dan has shown fiscal responsibility — and that will save Bellingham considerable money over the coming years.

~ Dan worked with local leaders and community members to restore Sunday Bus service, which is critical for the elderly and residents of lower income. 

~ Protecting Lake Whatcom, Mayor Dan pressed the Department of Ecology to close the watershed to further development until county regulations are brought up to speed. 

~ Bellingham was recently rated the second-best city in the nation to do business for small, independent businesses.
